These include:

  • Extraditions & Requisitions
  • Maintain Pardon Docket
  • Public Disclosures with persons doing business with the State
  • Service of Process
  • Special Police & Railroad Police
  • Great Seal



ELECTION INFORMATION

The role of the Secretary of State of Maryland in election matters is limited to:

  • Certifying candidates for nomination by a principal political party on the Presidential Primary Ballot
  • Serving on the Board of State Canvassers
  • Accepting Petitions for Referendum, which are petitions to refer to the voters an act of the General Assembly.
