Notch Program

On a regular basis, the TREA Senior Citizens League ("League") solicits contributions in Maryland for its "Notch Program." Since the League is soliciting contributions in Maryland, it is required to register with the Charitable Organizations Division. The League is registered, and additional information can be obtained by searching the database on this site.

For additional information on the Notch Program specifically, the Charitable Organizations Division recommends contacting both the TREA Senior Citizens League and the Social Security Administration to ensure that you have complete information on this issue. Additional information can be obtained from the Social Security Administration by calling 1-800-772-1213 or visiting the Administration's webpage. Both organizations have information that you can request that provide further information on the program.

Help Stop Fraud in State Government

The Maryland General Assembly’s Office of Legislative Audits operates a toll-free fraud hotline to receive allegations of fraud and/or abuse of State government resources.
